Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate large-scale distributed systems supporting AI model and service lifecycles.
- Drive architecture and implementation of cloud platform capabilities for deployment, reliability, governance, and operational excellence.
- Partner with engineering, product management, research, and platform teams to deliver scalable solutions.
- Develop highly available, secure, and observable services using SRE principles.
- Create self-service experiences, automation, and tooling for onboarding, deployment, monitoring, and management of AI applications.
- Analyze production systems and improve performance, reliability, capacity, and service health.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical strategy, design reviews, knowledge sharing, and cross-team collaboration.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: master's degree and 6+ years of experience, or bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience, or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale distributed systems or highly available, reliable, and performant cloud services.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, containers, infrastructure as code, and modern CI/CD systems.
- Experience operating production services, including observability, incident management, capacity planning, and service health monitoring.
- Experience building developer platforms, control planes, orchestration systems, workflow engines, or platform services used by engineering teams.
Benefits
- The typical U.S. base pay range is $119,800-$234,700 per year, with a San Francisco Bay Area and New York City metropolitan area range of $160,200-$261,000 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
- The position will remain open for at least 5 days and accepts applications on an ongoing basis until filled.
