Responsibilities
- Plan and develop new features for the MoneyLion mobile app with a cross-functional team.
- Gather requirements and recommend technical solutions.
- Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications to optimize performance.
- Support the QA team with testing and debugging.
- Evaluate technology trends, products, and tools that could improve development and application quality.
- Identify architectural problems and design solutions.
- Coach junior engineers.
- Align business goals with technical priorities and provide constructive feedback to feature owners.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a software engineer; technical leadership experience is a plus.
- Proven experience building mobile applications using native, React Native, or hybrid approaches, as well as server-side Node.js applications.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one of JavaScript, Java, or Swift; TypeScript is a plus.
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
- Familiarity with functional programming is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- BSc degree in Computer Science or a relevant field.
