Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver high-fidelity threat missile modeling and missile defense software products.
- Apply AI/ML techniques including deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
- Use large language model and generative AI solutions, including prompt engineering, for human-machine teaming in software development.
- Deploy and evaluate AI/ML models, including at scale and through A/B testing when applicable.
- Support modeling and simulation for missile systems, atmospheric dynamics, motion, trajectories, countermeasures, debris, and signatures.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 0 years of experience.
- Active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application.
- Familiarity with AI/ML techniques including deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
- Experience programming in Python, R, or other relevant languages.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Keras, and other AI/ML frameworks or libraries.
- Experience with large language models, generative AI, and prompt engineering.
- Familiarity with Linux operating systems.
- Preferred: engineering or aerospace experience, MLOps, model deployment at scale, AI/ML evaluation methods, AWS, Azure, GCP, DevOps practices, sensitive data and privacy regulations, modeling and simulation, missile-system and atmospheric-dynamics knowledge, and Agile development with Scrum or Kanban.
