Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and operational processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and automation opportunities.
  • Document current-state workflows and support the design of future-state automated processes.
  • Gather requirements and understand operational challenges in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, test, and support automation solutions using approved platforms and tools.
  • Build workflows, integrations, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Monitor solution performance and identify optimization opportunities.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, user guides, and technical documentation.
  • Support data collection, reporting, and analysis to evaluate automation initiatives.
  • Research emerging automation, artificial intelligence, and productivity technologies.
  • Participate in continuous improvement, operational excellence, and digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Technology Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Understanding of process improvement, workflow design, business analysis, or operational efficiency concepts.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform, Power Automate, or Power Apps.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel, Power BI, or SQL for data analysis and reporting.
  • Exposure to Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, or similar programming or scripting languages.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Preferred experience from academic projects, internships, hackathons, extracurricular activities, or personal projects involving automation or process improvement.
  • Preferred exposure to Microsoft Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar generative AI platforms.
  • Preferred familiarity with Visio or similar process mapping and workflow visualization tools.
  • Preferred experience creating dashboards, reports, or data visualizations using Power BI or similar tools.
  • Preferred understanding of APIs, system integrations, data connectors, or automation architecture concepts.
