Base Salary
$320k - $405k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines that aggregate risk, control, and asset information across Anthropic’s technology stack.
- Build and maintain integrations with cloud infrastructure, identity management, HRIS, ticketing, version-control, and CI/CD systems.
- Translate policies and regulatory requirements into policy-as-code, automated checks, and continuous monitoring.
- Design and deploy Claude-based agentic workflows for evidence analysis, audit responses, and control-effectiveness monitoring.
- Develop real-time dashboards and reporting for engineers, executives, and external auditors.
- Make architectural decisions and establish reusable patterns and tooling for the platform.
- Partner with Security, IT, Infrastructure, Privacy Engineering, Legal, Finance, and product engineering teams.
- Operate the systems built while owning reliability and data integrity for audit and executive reporting.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience building backend systems, data pipelines, or internal platforms that other teams depend on, ideally at a tech-lead level.
- Strong understanding of data flows, system integrations, integration points, and cross-system failure modes.
- Depth in integration engineering or data infrastructure, with fluency in the other area.
- Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages, plus production experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and infrastructure-as-code.
- Strong focus on data quality, reliability, automation, independent technical decision-making, and end-to-end ownership.
- Product-focused approach to internal platform work and interest in building tools internal customers value.
- Interest and experience in building reliable LLM-based or agentic workflows for high-stakes use.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.
- Preferred experience in privacy engineering, data governance, fintech, healthcare, trust and safety, compliance frameworks, GRC platforms, LLM-based automation, or high-growth startups.
