Responsibilities
- Own the MCP observability and support strategy and roadmap.
- Design, maintain, and improve system-health architecture used by other teams.
- Establish automation patterns for vulnerability management and remediation tracking.
- Advise on execution of the MCP technical roadmap and drive adoption of new tools, processes, and standards.
- Champion standards for CI/CD, observability, infrastructure as code, and reliability engineering.
- Collaborate with developers, Product Managers, Infosec, Compliance, and vendors to identify risks and ensure quality.
- Mentor and coach technical team members and promote continuous process improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant information technology field or a minimum of 10 years of direct full-stack engineering experience with increasing complexity, or 5 years in a principal engineer capacity.
- 3-5 years of project management, system architecture, and design experience.
- 3-5 years working in diverse environments using Agile software development principles.
- Principal-level experience with hyperscale cloud environments and configurations, preferably Google Cloud, with AWS or Azure considered.
- Experience with enterprise information security systems and applications in public cloud environments.
- Principal-level experience with DevOps and CI/CD principles.
- Experience with cloud architecture, deployments, and management in an enterprise setting.
- Experience directly delivering and supporting clinical systems.
- Experience with healthcare interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR is an additional qualification.
- Experience with solution integration and delivery in a healthcare setting is an additional qualification.
- Understanding of healthcare considerations such as HIPAA and HITRUST is strongly desired.
