Responsibilities
- Translate ambiguous requirements into machine learning models that solve real-world business problems.
- Conduct machine learning experiments using Python and machine learning libraries.
- Develop generative AI solutions and optimize ML systems for performance and scalability.
- Implement custom machine learning code and production-grade AI and data-driven software.
- Build efficient data flows between databases and backend systems.
- Automate MLOps workflows, including testing, reproducibility, and feature or metadata storage.
- Design machine learning architectures using Google Cloud tools and services.
- Scope consulting projects, oversee engagement delivery, lead projects, and participate in client discussions.
- Build trusted relationships with prospects and communicate technical concepts to clients.
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience as a Machine Learning Engineer, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Proficiency in Python as a backend language and experience delivering production-ready code.
- Strong machine learning and data science fundamentals, including model optimization and deployment practices.
- Familiarity with Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
- Hands-on software engineering experience and knowledge of SQL for querying and managing data.
- Experience scaling computations with GPUs or distributed computing systems.
- Familiarity with exposing machine learning components through web services or wrappers such as Flask in Python.
- Strong communication, presentation, and consulting skills.
- Scale-up experience is a bonus.
- Cloud certifications such as Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer or AWS Solution Architect are a bonus.
