Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to Neo4j implementations across the full project lifecycle, from initial design through production rollout.
- Serve as a technical subject matter expert and trusted advisor during customer consulting engagements.
- Design graph data models and scalable solution architectures for complex applications and high-performance querying.
- Build solutions using Neo4j and structure graph data for analytics, search, RAG, and modern AI architectures.
- Integrate Neo4j with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Advise customers on data engineering and optimize data ingestion patterns into Neo4j.
- Develop solution architectures, technical recommendations, proposals, level-of-effort assessments, and statements of work.
- Explain complex technical concepts, train customer teams, and mentor them on Neo4j and graph development best practices.
- Collaborate with customer teams and Neo4j sales, sales engineering, and support teams to deliver successful outcomes.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-class applications, particularly data-driven or analytics-focused systems.
- Strong data modeling experience across relational, NoSQL, or graph databases.
- Experience designing scalable software architectures and working in modern application development environments.
- Practical data engineering experience structuring and optimizing data for search, analytics, or AI-driven applications.
- Hands-on competence in at least one of Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or C#.
- Experience deploying applications on Linux, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Git and source control and development workflows.
- At least 2 years of consultative experience in a professional services organization is a bonus.
- Experience with Neo4j, TigerGraph, JanusGraph, Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, Couchbase, Teradata, SciLearn, Keras, TensorFlow, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is advantageous.
- Industry experience in financial services, life sciences, manufacturing, or technology is a bonus.
- Strong problem-solving, written and verbal communication, presentation, customer relationship, independent-working, and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and approaches and travel to client sites as needed.
