Responsibilities

Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain software applications and services.
Own complex features, services, or components independently within established architectural patterns and standards.
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate business and user needs into scalable, performant, and maintainable solutions.
Contribute to system design, architecture decisions, technical tradeoffs, and implementation approaches.
Use AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, documentation, testing, and analysis.
Participate in code reviews and promote coding standards, quality expectations, and secure development practices.
Troubleshoot software defects, performance issues, and reliability concerns.
Create and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and other validation approaches.
Improve development workflows, automation, observability, and engineering efficiency.
Explore practical applications of AI and machine learning capabilities.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Minimum of 5+ years of relevant and related work experience.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent number of years of relevant work experience.
Proficiency in at least one relevant programming language, such as TypeScript, Java, C#, or Python.
Experience delivering production-grade software and independently owning significant features or technical components.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and software quality.
Ability to use AI tools responsibly while considering security, privacy, reliability, maintainability, and human oversight.
Experience with version control, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and Agile or Kanban methodologies.
Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, algorithms, and data structures.
Familiarity with SQL and database concepts; hands-on database experience is preferred.
Familiarity with OWASP threats, mitigation techniques, and secure coding practices.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and prioritization skills.
