  • Build reproducible model training and evaluation workflows and integrate model inference into analytical or software systems.
  • Translate operational needs into computer vision solutions and select modeling approaches based on available data and constraints.
  • Design validation strategies, establish operating thresholds, and assess missed-defect versus false-alarm tradeoffs.
  • Deliver maintainable and tested code, investigate technical issues, and communicate findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, solutions architects, mission SMEs, and product owners.

Requirements

  • Experience with Python, SQL, Git, and machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
  • Experience developing computer vision solutions and applying image preprocessing, feature extraction, transfer learning, classification, object detection, segmentation, and visual anomaly detection.
  • Knowledge of neural network architectures and supervised, unsupervised, and self-supervised learning approaches.
  • Knowledge of representative dataset design, data leakage, class imbalance, overfitting, and model generalization.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, AI, or computer vision.
  • Preferred experience with computer vision for industrial inspection, manufacturing, materials, textiles, or quality control.
  • Preferred experience with limited defect samples, limited labeled data, or normal-only training datasets.
  • Preferred experience deploying and monitoring ML models with AWS, Docker, GPU infrastructure, or model-serving platforms.
  • Preferred knowledge of visual anomaly detection methods such as pre-trained feature-based methods, autoencoders, PatchCore, or PaDiM.
  • Preferred ability to design end-to-end visual inspection systems and address throughput, latency, reliability, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Master’s degree, doctorate, or AI, ML, computer vision, data science, cloud, DevOps, or security certification is preferred or a plus.

Benefits

  • Health, life, disability, financial, and retirement benefits are offered.
  • Paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work-life programs, dependent care, and recognition awards are offered.
  • Regular full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for the company’s benefit programs, with select offerings for others.
