Responsibilities

  • Lead in technical architecture and set the technical vision for the team.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of complex applications and systems.
  • Explore new trends and technologies to pitch innovative projects.
  • Translate targeted solutions into end-to-end architectural designs.
  • Independently own large problem spaces with significant ambiguity.
  • Communicate effectively across all levels of product development.
  • Engage with peers and management to develop unprecedented solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 15+ years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Java, Spring framework, and Hibernate.
  • Experience in cloud-native microservices and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with building integrations with data sources like PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with at least one hyperscaler, ideally AWS.
  • Good experience in building data processing pipelines using platforms like Apache Spark.
  • Deep understanding of containerization and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
  • Ability to navigate enterprise challenges such as security and scalability.
  • Excellent programming skills and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong background in architecting reusable software components.
  • Skilled in driving technical solutions to complex problems.
  • Experience in managing technical debt for software systems.
  • Strong facilitation and communication skills.
  • Exposure to geographically distributed work environments.
  • Capable of supporting and coaching mid to staff level colleagues.
