Responsibilities
- Define the technical architecture for the agent orchestration platform.
- Build and scale distributed systems for complex state management.
- Drive alignment across AI teams on shared infrastructure and APIs.
- Champion reliability and observability practices for enterprise SLAs.
- Mentor engineers and raise the bar for AI systems engineering.
- Translate ambiguous product requirements into technical solutions.
- Represent Asana's technical perspective in partnerships with AI ecosystem players.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, particularly in distributed systems.
- Experience building and operating high-availability services.
- Strong instincts for enterprise security and compliance.
- Proven track record of setting technical direction across teams.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and progress on undefined problems.
- Excellent communication skills to build trust with partners.
- Experience with ML/AI systems in production.
- Familiarity with agent orchestration patterns and emerging protocols.
