Responsibilities
- Implement and integrate generative AI models and machine learning algorithms into new and existing software solutions.
- Fine-tune and optimize pre-trained AI/ML models for specific use cases.
- Build and deploy scalable AI-driven features with engineers and data scientists.
- Develop frontend and backend software for AI-powered applications.
- Design agent reasoning, entity resolution, data integration, evaluation, reliability, and orchestration frameworks for freight workflows.
- Participate in architectural decisions, optimize AI/ML pipelines, and resolve model and system integration issues.
- Write unit and integration tests and contribute to technical excellence and development processes.
- Collaborate with product, design, engineering, and domain experts and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related coding-focused technical field, or equivalent technical experience.
- At least 7 years of experience as a software or data engineer.
- At least 2 years of AI/ML engineering experience.
- Experience with AI/ML libraries and frameworks, model training and fine-tuning, and supervised, unsupervised, and reinforcement learning.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages, frameworks, and technologies including Python, SQL, ReactJS, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, Apache Beam, dbt, and BigQuery.
- Knowledge of application architecture, security best practices, data integration, databases, data modeling, data warehousing, distributed data management, and public cloud infrastructure.
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Airflow.
- Preferred qualifications include experience on a product-focused technology team and strong technical problem-solving skills.
