Responsibilities
- Translate wireframes into functional requirements and develop reusable, high-performance UI components.
- Collaborate with design, product management, and development teams to create responsive, usable, and interactive interfaces.
- Suggest improvements to user interfaces, software architecture, and technologies.
- Optimize web applications for speed and scale across high-powered desktops and low-end mobile devices.
- Help define front-end best practices and coach or teach others.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 to 3 years of experience developing responsive, efficient, cross-browser front-end applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Hands-on experience with MVC frameworks and UI libraries such as ReactJS and D3.js.
- Hands-on experience with mapping APIs such as Google Maps and OpenStreetMap.
- Familiarity with UX processes and design.
- Ability to drive large-scale projects with understanding of Agile SDLC, collaboration, and leadership.
- Strong written, oral communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
