Responsibilities
- Support the concept, design, testing, and release lifecycle of existing and new mobile applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features.
- Develop mobile functionality in Swift or Kotlin alongside backend work.
- Design, develop, and test solutions in iterative sprints.
- Build automation and tests to streamline mobile development.
Requirements
- Be available to work at Verkada HQ during winter or summer 2027.
- Be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar degree plan, with graduation planned for early to mid 2026.
- Have a proficient understanding of Swift and iOS SDK or Kotlin and Android SDK, with willingness to learn both.
- Have experience writing multithreaded, asynchronous code and working with backend server APIs.
- Have solid UI development and unit testing skills.
- Have a thorough understanding of fundamental Computer Science concepts.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
