Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate reproducible cloud infrastructure across environments using infrastructure-as-code.
- Own CI/CD pipelines, artifact management, testing gates, progressive delivery, and rollback strategies for services, ML models, and data jobs.
- Automate infrastructure scaling, deployments, GPU and CPU autoscaling, capacity planning, and cloud cost controls.
- Embed secrets management, IAM, least-privilege access, vulnerability scanning, dependency and container hardening, policy-as-code, and audit logging into the platform.
- Build platform-level metrics, logs, tracing, alerting, and SLO capabilities.
- Operate large-scale cloud deployments, respond to incidents, and implement post-incident improvements.
- Create developer tooling and paved paths that enable product engineers to ship safely.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in platform, infrastructure, DevOps, or SRE roles supporting production systems at meaningful scale.
- Hands-on DevSecOps experience integrating security scanning, secrets handling, access control, and compliance checks into delivery pipelines.
- Deep experience with CI/CD tooling and deployment strategies such as blue/green, canary, and feature-flag deployments.
- Strong experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure at scale, including compute, networking, storage, IAM, managed Kubernetes, and cost management.
- Expert infrastructure-as-code experience with Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, CDK, or similar, plus configuration management or GitOps workflows.
- Production experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm, including autoscaling and multi-environment management.
- Strong programming ability in Python, Go, or Bash for automation and tooling.
- Strong operational judgment around failure modes, blast radius, and recoverability.
- Preferred experience running GPU workloads and ML infrastructure in the cloud.
- Preferred familiarity with compliance frameworks and secure or air-gapped deployments such as FedRAMP, CMMC, or IL environments.
- Preferred experience with edge or hybrid deployments and observability stacks such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or Datadog.
