Responsibilities
- Build AI-assisted prototypes, integrations, tooling, and services, then harden successful solutions into reusable playbooks.
- Own technical delivery of Blockstream enterprise software from kickoff through configuration, testing, UAT, production deployment, and post-launch support.
- Integrate Blockstream products with core banking, capital-markets, and other customer systems.
- Deploy and optimize solutions in on-premise, network-isolated, and air-gapped banking environments while producing required security and audit evidence.
- Troubleshoot technical, configuration, and integration issues and collaborate with Engineering on product improvements.
- Support technical pre-sales, RFP/RFI and security questionnaire responses, SOW scoping, effort estimation, and scope-change management.
- Lead technical workshops, architecture discussions, implementation planning, administrator training, and end-user enablement.
- Translate customer implementation feedback into code, deployment frameworks, standardized methodologies, and product roadmap input.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor while embedded with customer engineering, operations, security, and technology teams.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of experience in software engineering, forward deployed engineering, solutions engineering, professional services, technical consulting, implementation engineering, or enterprise software delivery.
- Proficiency in at least one systems or backend language such as Python, Go, or Rust, sufficient to independently build and ship integrations, tooling, and services.
- Experience implementing and deploying enterprise software in complex customer environments and working directly with enterprise customers.
- Strong understanding of protocol intermediation, enterprise integration patterns, cloud technologies, security fundamentals, and modern software architectures.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, customer-facing communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and collaborate across Product Management, Engineering, Enterprise Sales, and Consulting.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple customer engagements.
- Willingness to travel regularly to customer locations across Europe and excellent English skills.
- Preferred: experience with financial institutions, Bitcoin, blockchain, digital assets, tokenization, fintech, APIs, modern integration frameworks, cloud platforms, containerized deployments, infrastructure automation, Layer-2 technologies, or digital asset infrastructure.
