Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software for robotic handling and automation systems.
- Implement motion control, robot path planning, sequencing, and machine control logic.
- Develop software for robot communication, device control, sensors, actuators, and vision systems.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and throughput for high-volume manufacturing environments.
- Troubleshoot software and system integration issues.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, systems, manufacturing, and field service engineers.
- Participate in software architecture, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
- Support product releases, customer escalations, and field issues when necessary.
Requirements
- Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Automation Control, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of software development experience in robotics, automation, industrial equipment, or related areas.
- Strong programming skills in C++, C#, Java, or Python.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, multithreading, concurrent programming, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with machine control systems and industrial communication protocols.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include semiconductor equipment, handler, EFEM, wafer handling, factory automation, robotics control, industrial automation platforms, robot kinematics, coordinate transformations, motion planning, real-time systems, embedded software, and global cross-functional engineering experience.
