Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a comprehensive understanding of complex data pipelines and platform projects.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy backend services and data pipelines for AdTech and ACR data.
- Create internal platform tooling to enforce Data Governance, Quality, and Compliance standards.
- Define the scope and deliverables for features of limited complexity with accurate time estimates.
- Contribute to the planning and development of features across the data ecosystem.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex bugs in distributed environments.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers across time zones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional software development experience, preferably in Backend or Data Engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms.
- Solid understanding of core Computer Science concepts like Operating Systems and DBMS.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Clear communication of technical challenges, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across time zones.
- Preferred experience with Big Data frameworks like Apache Spark and modern data platforms.
