Base Salary
$138k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on machine learning techniques, algorithms, frameworks, and optimizations.
- Enhance machine learning workflows using large language models and related techniques.
- Conduct experiments to evaluate and benchmark AI and agent techniques, analyze results, and tune models.
- Develop end-to-end Python code for proof-of-concept experiments and production-ready solutions.
- Optimize model accuracy and system performance by identifying and resolving inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to deliver scalable, science- and technology-driven solutions.
- Integrate generative AI into the Agent Platform using advanced techniques.
Requirements
- MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of applied machine learning experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in a programming language such as Python, Java, C, or C++, with intermediate Python proficiency required.
- At least 2 years of applying data science and machine learning techniques to business problems.
- Strong background in natural language processing and large language models.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning methods and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with GPU optimization, fine-tuning, embedding models, inference, prompt engineering, evaluation, RAG, and agentic systems.
- Ability to complete projects with limited supervision and communicate effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Preferred experience with agentic development frameworks, LLM and agent evaluation, benchmarking, experimentation at scale, planning, and reasoning.
- Preferred experience deploying machine learning models on AWS using tools such as SageMaker and EKS, and working with large-scale MLOps pipelines.
