Base Salary
$138k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert on ML techniques, algorithms, frameworks, and optimizations.
- Conduct experiments with current ML technologies, analyze results, and tune models.
- Develop end-to-end Python code for experimentation, proofs of concept, and production-ready solutions.
- Optimize system accuracy and performance by resolving inefficiencies and bottlenecks.
- Integrate generative AI into the ML platform using advanced techniques.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to deliver reliable, science- and technology-driven solutions.
- Support scalable platform capabilities for multiple business lines.
Requirements
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related field, with at least 2 years of applied machine learning experience.
- At least 4 years of experience with a programming language such as Python, Java, C, or C++, including intermediate Python proficiency.
- At least 2 years of experience applying data science and ML techniques to business problems.
- Strong background in Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning and deep learning methods and frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with GPU optimization, fine-tuning, embedding models, inference, prompt engineering, evaluation, and RAG similarity search.
- Preferred experience with Ray, MLflow, or other distributed training frameworks.
- Preferred knowledge of search and ranking, recommender systems, graph techniques, LLM agents, planning, and reasoning.
- Preferred experience deploying ML models on AWS using tools such as Amazon SageMaker and EKS.
- Preferred experience with large-scale MLOps pipelines and production ML services.
- Ability to complete projects with limited supervision and communicate effectively in a collaborative team environment.
