Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Work directly with customers to understand workflows, identify pain points, and translate insights into product opportunities.
- Partner with product teams to determine what to build, design experiments, and validate customer value.
- Pitch, prototype, ship, and drive adoption of new product surfaces from 0 to 1.
- Build AI-native products using LLMs, agents, evaluations, retrieval, and modern AI tooling.
- Own end-to-end outcomes including architecture, instrumentation, and meaningful product telemetry.
- Review designs and code, establish technical standards, and promote quality and simplicity.
- Mentor engineers in customer-centric and hypothesis-driven product development.
- Lead technical decision-making and complex engineering projects with an emphasis on iterative delivery.
Requirements
- Experience deploying production code and services to cloud-hosted environments.
- Demonstrated experience delivering incremental releases from proof of concept through MVP to production.
- Experience working independently on large and complex problems.
- Strong commitment to engineering excellence, clean code, and knowledge-sharing.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience leading other engineers on complex projects.
- Preferred experience with Python machine learning toolsets including NumPy, Pandas, or Dedupe.
- Preferred experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
