Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and document application test strategies, plans, and cases based on software requirements and technical specifications.
- Create, implement, and maintain test coverage for SOTI’s software platform.
- Design, configure, script, and execute performance tests for application and infrastructure stability and production readiness.
- Create performance testing strategies, plans, estimates, optimization work, and KPI reports.
- Prepare test data to properly simulate required test scenarios.
- Use JMeter, AppDynamics, and Fiddler to conduct load and performance testing and analyze performance issues.
- Collaborate with development and architecture teams to identify and troubleshoot performance-related issues.
- Perform functional, integration, system, security, performance, regression, and user acceptance testing using manual or automated techniques.
- Contribute to performance engineering and test automation frameworks and provide mentorship in these areas.
- Work within Scrum processes, maintain quality standards, and operate with minimal guidance.
Requirements
- 5–10 years of application quality assurance experience in complex web-based and mobile software development environments.
- Experience with manual or automated testing, preferably including exploratory testing methodology.
- Experience with API testing and JMeter.
- Experience with a programming language and test automation framework; C# and Playwright are preferred.
- Experience with databases and SQL/NoSQL.
- Knowledge of CI/CD workflows and professional software testing practices across the software development life cycle.
- Ability to understand complex business and technical processes and formulate solutions to complex problems.
- Strong bug reporting, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Experience communicating with users, technical teams, and senior management about requirements, product features, technical designs, and strategy.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture and deployment in AWS and/or Azure.
- University degree or college diploma in computer science or a related discipline.
