Responsibilities

  • Lead solution architecture, technical design, and implementation of enterprise-scale applications and platform services.
  • Design and develop cloud-native microservices and REST APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Drive AWS-based application development using modern cloud and DevOps practices.
  • Establish engineering standards for code quality, observability, performance, and security.
  • Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and provide technical leadership across teams.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
  • Identify and implement generative AI, AI-assisted development, and intelligent automation opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of software engineering experience with demonstrated technical leadership.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, microservices, distributed systems, REST API design and development, AWS cloud services, PostgreSQL database design and optimization, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience building scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native applications.
  • Strong understanding of generative AI, large language models, prompt engineering, AI agents, and retrieval-augmented generation.
  • Experience integrating AI capabilities into enterprise applications and business workflows.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven engineering tools and practices that improve developer productivity and software delivery.
  • Preferred: experience with domain-driven design, event-driven architectures, enterprise integration patterns, AWS or AI-related certifications, and modernization or digital transformation initiatives.
