Responsibilities
- Distill large security datasets into actionable information for reporting, threat hunting, and anomaly detection.
- Detect, document, investigate, and resolve security incidents.
- Analyze endpoint forensic artifacts and construct meaningful incident timelines.
- Design and implement preventative and corrective controls against emerging threats.
- Develop and execute threat-hunting plans to discover advanced threats.
- Create criteria to identify anomalous user behavior associated with insider threats.
- Develop and tune network anomaly detection controls.
- Proactively search for unknown threats within the environment.
Requirements
- University degree in Engineering, MIS, CIS, or a related discipline, or equivalent years of experience.
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on systems administration experience.
- Deep understanding of networking and its application.
- Experience with cloud or container security, including incident response in cloud and hybrid deployments.
- Relevant technical security certifications.
- Experience implementing security controls in an enterprise environment.
