Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, launch, and ongoing support of OpenEvidence within health systems.
- Make product and architectural decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Build enterprise product capabilities and turn recurring needs into scalable tools and processes.
- Maintain high standards for security, privacy, and reliability.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, sales, support, legal, and external partners.
- Prototype clinical workflows, shape the product roadmap, write or review code, and present plans to health system stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
- 5+ years of professional engineering experience preferred.
- Strong engineering ability and product judgment, particularly concerning risk, reliability, and production changes.
- Ability to understand complex systems and identify the underlying source of problems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for enterprise and clinical audiences.
- Experience with health systems, EHR integrations, clinical AI benchmarking, agentic workflows, or enterprise SaaS implementations preferred.
