Base Salary
$170k - $216k/yr
Responsibilities
- Leverage offboard resources to assist self-driving vehicles in complex situations.
- Prototype and deploy safe, robust, and reliable solutions for autonomous driving challenges.
- Collaborate with onboard engineering teams to anticipate and plan for edge-case issues.
- Work closely with Fleet Response Operations team users.
- Develop mission-critical systems and infrastructure for Waymo's fleet.
- Engage in a variety of tasks including web apps, distributed systems, and data analysis.
Requirements
- BS degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
- 3+ years of industry experience with distributed systems.
- Experience with C++, Java, or related structured programming languages.
- A generalist mindset with a willingness to learn new skills.
- Enjoyment from working closely with users.
