Responsibilities
- Develop playbooks and address security-related tasks in AWS serverless environments.
- Drive improvements in the broader security posture, including application and endpoint security.
- Collaborate with product engineering teams to enhance security in CI/CD pipelines and secure application design.
- Secure and improve the AWS organization using infrastructure as code and enforce security controls.
- Continuously assess vulnerabilities and perform regular risk assessments.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in engineering, specifically as a security engineer or in security-adjacent roles.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC, HIPAA, and/or HITRUST.
- 4+ years of experience working with AWS services, including compliance and governance services.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Ability to prioritize work based on business and customer needs.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
