Responsibilities
- Develop security playbooks and address security tasks in AWS serverless environments.
- Improve application security, endpoint security, access management, email and web gateways, browser security, and data loss prevention.
- Support CI/CD pipelines, dependency management, and secure application design reviews with product engineering teams.
- Secure and improve AWS Organizations using CDK, enforce security controls, and maintain strong tenant isolation.
- Continuously assess vulnerabilities and perform regular risk assessments.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in engineering, security engineering, or security-adjacent roles.
- At least 4 years of experience working with AWS services.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC, HIPAA, and/or HITRUST.
- Experience with AWS Organizations, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Config, Security Hub, and GuardDuty.
- Proficiency in TypeScript.
- Ability to prioritize work based on business and customer needs and manage shifting priorities.
- Alignment with Stedi’s stated working principles and engineering practices.
