Base Salary
$197k - $225k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end MLOps lifecycle by building scalable infrastructure and deploying data-science research models into production microservices.
- Design, build, and optimize automated data pipelines, model-serving platforms, and continuous monitoring systems.
- Develop performant, maintainable, resilient software using Python, with Java and Scala as secondary stack components.
- Build and operate cloud-based ML infrastructure using AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Balance hands-on software development and MLOps engineering with technical delivery leadership and coordination of cross-functional rollouts.
- Partner with engineering teams, product management, data scientists, and technical stakeholders to scale enterprise ML platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience is required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies is required.
- At least 2 years of experience building, scaling, and optimizing ML systems is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, production data-pipeline experience, resilient software development experience, and experience with Java, SQL, Python, or Go.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with scikit-learn, PyTorch, Dask, Spark, TensorFlow, open-source frameworks, data preparation for ML models, and Agile practices.
- At least 1 year of people-management experience is preferred.
- Experience collaborating with data science teams and using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion is preferred.
