Base Salary
$141k - $208k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement scalable, secure, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems.
- Establish and manage service level objectives and service level agreements for ClickHouse Cloud.
- Implement monitoring and alerting across Data Plane, Control Plane, ClickHouse Core, and other infrastructure components.
- Improve incident response, customer communication, and blameless postmortem processes.
- Continuously improve ClickHouse service reliability and performance.
- Plan, enable, and drive chaos engineering initiatives across engineering teams.
- Manage on-call processes and escalation best practices for performance and reliability issues.
- Develop software platforms and tools that improve operational and engineering efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a related field.
- Hands-on experience with Go and/or Python.
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Understanding of distributed databases and SQL; ClickHouse experience is a major plus.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes or Docker Swarm.
- Strong experience with Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
- Production debugging, problem-solving, communication, ownership, and accountability skills.
