Responsibilities
- Design and develop factory automation features for semiconductor equipment, including remote command execution, FOUP handling, recipe management, and Factory Automation ID management.
- Build and enhance supervisor-layer software infrastructure in collaboration with GUI and device control teams.
- Troubleshoot factory automation and system integration issues during development and in production.
- Collaborate with customer station controller teams to support host-to-equipment communication.
- Support feature validation and testing, including DLab, and participate in on-tool debugging and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong programming experience in C# and at least five years of professional software development experience.
- Experience in the semiconductor or manufacturing automation industry and hands-on experience with factory automation systems and equipment integration.
- Familiarity with SECS/GEM, GEM300, EDA/Interface A, Automated Material Handling Systems, and gRPC.
- Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of software development and architecture experience, complex distributed-systems problem solving, customer-facing collaboration, performance profiling, and memory optimization.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
