Base Salary
$158k - $219k/yr
Responsibilities
- Deliver complex projects using Go.
- Collaborate with teams to design, develop, test, and deploy tools and services.
- Enable fellow engineers to develop faster and more efficiently.
- Lead best practices to promote engineering excellence.
- Deliver secure, reliable, and high-performance infrastructure and APIs.
- Work with the infrastructure engineering team to minimize operational overhead.
Requirements
- Hold 6+ years of software engineering experience.
- Experience in Go, with additional backend languages like Ruby, Java, and Python preferred.
- Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms, especially Kinesis, DynamoDB, and Elastic Kubernetes Service.
- Strong curiosity about system functionality and a desire to learn.
- Designed, developed, and supported large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience in observability and monitoring of production systems.
- Deep understanding of architectural patterns for large, mission-critical services.
- Comfort with solving complex, poorly defined problems.
- Rigorous approach to testing code and experience in CI/CD environments.
