Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, implement, test, deploy, and operate highly scalable financial services.
  • Build distributed systems that facilitate global financial transactions worth billions of dollars annually.
  • Own systems end to end and contribute to technology direction and software product strategy.
  • Apply data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, and software engineering best practices.
  • Collaborate with users, technical teams, and senior management to gather requirements and communicate designs and features.
  • Work on projects from requirements scoping through launch in an agile development environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Experience programming in at least one software programming language, such as Java, C++, or C#.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle principles and strong data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis fundamentals.
  • At least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Fluency in English and strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Preferred experience with AWS and financial or tax software implementation, configuration, support, and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ownership, successful delivery of results, and ability to work with users, technical teams, and senior management.
