Responsibilities
- Architect and scale high-performance APIs for Veeva Ostro’s SaaS platform.
- Partner cross-functionally to design and ship new features.
- Provide technical feedback on product roadmaps and feature scoping.
- Champion quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and clean architecture.
- Optimize application and database performance to handle growth.
- Evaluate emerging backend technologies to improve engineering practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve live system issues to maximize uptime.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience shipping production code for B2B or B2C SaaS products.
- 5+ years of deep expertise in Python and frameworks like Django.
- Strong proficiency with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
