Responsibilities
- Architect and scale high-performance APIs for Veeva Ostro’s SaaS platform
- Partner cross-functionally to design and ship new features
- Provide technical feedback on product roadmaps and feature scoping
- Champion quality through peer reviews, unit testing, and clean architecture
- Optimize application and database performance to handle growth
- Evaluate emerging backend technologies to improve engineering practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve live system issues to maximize uptime
Requirements
- At least 5 years of software engineering experience shipping production code for B2B or B2C SaaS products
- At least 5 years of deep expertise in Python and frameworks such as Django
- Strong proficiency with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL
- Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills
