Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Deliver machine learning models and software components for challenging financial-services business problems.
- Drive the creation and evolution of machine learning models and intelligent systems.
- Lead large-scale ML initiatives and shape long-term cross-organizational machine learning strategy.
- Use cloud architectures and technologies to deploy optimized ML models at scale.
- Design and optimize data pipelines for training and evaluating ML models.
- Evangelize engineering and modeling lifecycle best practices.
- Recruit, nurture, retain, and develop machine learning engineering talent.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to executive leadership.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 10 years of programming experience with Python, Java, Golang, or C++ is required.
- At least 8 years of machine learning experience with PyTorch or TensorFlow and libraries including Pandas, NumPy, and Scikit-learn is required.
- At least 8 years of experience operating large-scale distributed systems such as Spark and Ray for AI or ML data preparation is required.
- At least 8 years of experience deploying and operating production ML solutions and cloud production services using AWS, GCP, or Azure and Kubernetes is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's or doctoral degree in a related field and 5+ years architecting resilient, large-scale production ML systems.
- Preferred qualifications include 7+ years optimizing ML algorithms, configurations, and infrastructure and 7+ years working with advanced ML techniques, model types, architectures, and evaluation concepts.
- Preferred qualifications include 9+ years designing, implementing, and scaling production-ready data pipelines for ML training and evaluation.
- Preferred qualifications include recognized ML industry leadership through conference presentations, papers, blog posts, open source contributions, or patents.
- Preferred qualifications include experience developing high-performing ML engineers with an inspiring leadership style.
