Responsibilities
- Write Web Platform Tests and Gecko mochitests to improve test coverage.
- Fix test failures and code problems to improve Gecko correctness.
- Debug issues in a large mature browser-engine codebase.
- Work through code review with Gecko module owners and iterate changes through upstream landing.
Requirements
- Substantial experience in a browser-engine codebase or browser-engine automation, ideally Firefox or Gecko.
- Strong JavaScript skills applied to automated testing.
- Proficiency and experience developing software in C++.
- Strong debugging skills in a mature large codebase.
- Comfort working with public bugs, code review, and upstream landing.
- Prior contributions to Gecko or another major browser engine are preferred.
- Familiarity with web standards and Web Platform Tests is preferred.
