Responsibilities
- Test software across the full range of Wave Relay products.
- Develop, implement, and maintain automated regression and performance tests for low-level software, application software, and hardware development.
- Perform software analysis, quality assurance, regression testing, and testing against customer, management, and company quality requirements.
- Support in-house, field engineering, R&D, and customer-site activities, including travel.
- Integrate systems, sensors, and components with Wave Relay systems.
- Create manual and automated test plans, test procedures, test proposals, and test result reports.
- Build fixed and variable automated tests to enable repeatable and efficient software testing.
- Drive process improvement and enhance data and process quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in functional automated testing.
- At least 2 years of software development experience using Perl, Python, Shell Script, or similar programming languages.
- Strong working knowledge of Linux operating systems, command-line interfaces, and scripting.
- Experience defining software test requirements and building regression, functional, performance, and stress test plans.
- Experience creating test procedures, test plan proposals, and test result reports.
- Experience building automated tests for repeatable software testing.
- Knowledge of wireless communication and networking systems.
- Ability to obtain a US security clearance or already hold one.
- Preferred: experience with Cisco and enterprise networking.
- Preferred: ISO 9001:2008 quality system experience.
