Base Salary
$63k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, code, unit test, integrate, and document real-time embedded software for radar, sensor, guidance, and fire-control systems.
- Investigate and troubleshoot complex technical problems and develop resolutions.
- Support requirements derivation, architectural modeling, technical analysis, and software/hardware integration.
- Participate in software peer reviews, code inspections, and technical decisions with multidisciplinary teams, program leadership, and customers.
- Contribute across the software development lifecycle while meeting technical, cost, schedule, quality, and product-integrity requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited institution, obtained by the start date.
- Experience developing and testing or debugging software using C, C++, or a similar object-oriented programming language.
- Strong object-oriented design knowledge and real-time embedded software development experience.
- Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving experience.
- Experience developing software in a team-based environment; experience may come from work, research, coursework, or projects.
- Preferred: software development lifecycle experience, CI/CD pipelines, automated build environments, Linux, Git/GitLab, Python, Perl, Bash, data structures, algorithms, system software design, radar systems, DSP, or real-time embedded software.
- U.S. citizenship is required for security-clearance eligibility, and an active existing DoD Secret clearance is required after day one.
