Base Salary
$217k - $299k/yr
Responsibilities
- Establish long-term technical direction across query observability, warehouse management, and account-level governance.
- Design and lead high-impact projects to improve performance, reliability, and cost transparency.
- Build next-generation observability and governance tools for user and automated agent interaction.
- Collaborate with SQL, Unity Catalog, AI, security, and platform teams for integrated visibility.
- Mentor senior engineers and set technical standards for the team.
- Champion high-quality software and operational practices for customer-facing products.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in large-scale distributed systems or observability platforms.
- Proven track record as a technical leader in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
- Strong fundamentals in computer science, including algorithms and systems design.
- Experience with observability pipelines, query engines, and data governance.
- Excellent cross-functional communication skills for aligning technical strategies.
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience; MS/PhD is a plus.
- Bonus: experience with building agentic experiences using LLMs.
