Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, performant customer-oriented Android mobile banking applications.
- Own technical design decisions and apply Clean Architecture, MVVM, MVI, and modular feature patterns.
- Write idiomatic Kotlin using coroutines, Flow, StateFlow, RxJava, and RxKotlin for asynchronous flows and state management.
- Design dependency injection with Hilt and maintain clear API boundaries between feature modules.
- Develop unit tests with JUnit 5 and Mockito, manage asynchronous testing strategies, and monitor coverage with Kover.
- Integrate features into CI/CD pipelines, publish artifacts through Artifactory, and coordinate releases through TeamCity.
- Enforce code quality through detekt, custom lint rules, code reviews, and SOLID principles.
- Implement SSL pinning, AES encryption, secure credential storage, and other application-security controls.
- Build performant and accessible user interfaces with Jetpack Compose and XML.
- Create technical documentation, maintain architectural decision records, mentor junior developers, and support production monitoring and incident management.
Requirements
- Expert Android development experience with Kotlin, coroutines, Flow/StateFlow, and enterprise-grade architectures.
- Proven ability to design and deliver secure, scalable mobile applications in regulated environments.
- Experience with multi-module architectures, dependency injection, resilient navigation, and secure API integration.
- Strong knowledge of application security and data protection, including encrypted storage, SSL pinning, and banking security standards.
- Experience building user-centric interfaces with Jetpack Compose and XML with attention to performance, accessibility, and reliability.
- Experience owning software quality and delivery through automated testing, static analysis, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and production incident management.
- Ability to use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity and workflows while applying critical judgment to data and AI outputs.
