Base Salary
$69k - $142k/yr
Responsibilities
- Assemble complex datasets to support AI/ML algorithm implementation.
- Build infrastructure and ETL pipelines for extracting, transforming, and loading data from multiple sources.
- Curate and maintain data supporting metrics and evaluation.
- Implement artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms, including solutions involving LLMs, NLP, and predictive analytics.
- Redesign infrastructure for scalability, optimize data delivery, automate manual processes, and improve internal workflows.
- Collaborate with researchers and software developers in a multidisciplinary team.
- Develop software using Agile methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Data Science, AI/ML, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience, preferably in data engineering, data science, machine learning engineering, or software development.
- Experience developing data pipelines and normalizing data with Python packages such as NumPy, Pandas, or Polars.
- Experience contributing on a team using version control such as Git, GitLab, or Bitbucket.
- Active TS/SCI U.S. Government security clearance is required.
- Preferred qualifications include TS/SCI clearance with polygraph, GitLab, DevSecOps, test-driven development, containers, AWS, Spark, and PySpark experience.
- Preferred experience includes LLMs, transformer architectures, NLP algorithms such as BERT, reinforcement learning, clustering, deep neural networks, tracking and pattern-of-life algorithms, and GenAI operations.
- Preferred experience includes LangFuse, MLFlow, Arize Phoenix, HuggingFace, LangChain, Linux, AWS services, Java, C++, Rust, Go, C#, CUDA, Podman, Docker, Kubernetes, Rancher, and proposal writing.
- Experience leading interdisciplinary teams of researchers and software developers is preferred.
