Responsibilities

  • Define Python automation libraries and framework enablers for scalable vehicle-level testing.
  • Establish clean, efficient, and well-documented coding standards and conduct code reviews.
  • Drive automation architecture, tooling, enterprise-scale automation pipelines, and quality framework improvements.
  • Collaborate with global engineering and virtual engineering teams on SDV tools and processes.
  • Mentor and develop a software automation team.
  • Lead technical workshops and solve complex engineering problems.
  • Provide technical leadership for software development, integration, verification testing, and strategic technology initiatives.
  • Actively participate in hiring through technical questionnaires, resume reviews, and interviews.
  • Support projects eligible for patent applications and maintain visibility across infotainment teams and sites.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 7 years of software development experience using languages such as C++, C#, or Python.
  • Experience with Automotive Ethernet and the SOME/IP communication protocol.
  • Strong hands-on experience developing test automation and automation frameworks.
  • Experience with open-source or commercial automation tools.
  • Preferred: advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or a technical leadership discipline.
  • Preferred: at least 3 years of automotive software development or test automation experience.
  • Preferred: experience designing and extending automation frameworks and platform enablers.
  • Preferred: understanding of SDV architecture, service-oriented architecture, and decoupled software/hardware systems.
  • Preferred: knowledge of AUTOSAR Adaptive or Classic Platforms, TCP/IP networking, communication protocols, and in-vehicle network traffic analysis using tools such as Wireshark.
