Responsibilities
- Define Python automation libraries and framework enablers for scalable vehicle-level testing.
- Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and drive software engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to improve automation architecture and tooling.
- Mentor and develop a software automation team.
- Partner with virtual engineering teams on next-generation Software-Defined Vehicle tools and processes.
- Lead technical workshops and solve complex engineering problems.
- Drive continuous improvement of enterprise-scale automation pipelines and quality frameworks.
- Provide technical leadership for software development, integration, verification testing, and strategic technology initiatives.
- Actively participate in hiring through technical questionnaires, resume reviews, and interviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of software development experience using technologies such as C++, C#, or Python.
- Strong hands-on experience developing test automation and automation frameworks.
- Experience with open-source and/or commercial automation tools.
- Preferred experience with vehicle electrical architecture, vehicle subsystems, and automotive software or test automation.
- Preferred experience with Automotive Ethernet, SOME/IP, AUTOSAR Adaptive or Classic Platforms, TCP/IP, and in-vehicle network traffic analysis.
- Preferred understanding of Software-Defined Vehicle architecture, service-oriented architecture, and decoupled software and hardware systems.
- Preferred experience designing and extending automation frameworks and platform enablers.
- Preferred experience adopting AI-assisted coding, test generation, documentation, code review, and workflow optimization practices.
- Preferred advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or a technical leadership discipline.
