Responsibilities
- Develop new features and tools for primarily desktop-based applications, including design, documentation, implementation, and testing.
- Work across UI, UX, architecture, business logic, and data layers.
- Design UI layouts, develop interfaces, and make architectural changes for new features.
- Analyze and resolve software defects.
- Analyze requirements, anticipate customer and product needs, and evaluate opportunity costs in decision-making.
- Develop project estimates and timelines and collaborate with other departments and disciplines.
- Deploy and support software on standalone robotics platforms when needed.
- Work effectively on both individual and team projects.
Requirements
- Fluency in either C# or C++ and understanding of object-oriented design principles.
- Desire to work with .NET, MSSQL, and C# in the Microsoft technology stack.
- Experience creating or maintaining architectural interfaces such as RESTful APIs and WCF contracts.
- Knowledge of SQL database design principles and experience with Entity Framework.
- Experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or Angular 5+.
- Familiarity with CI/CD build processes, version control, and preferably Git.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies or frameworks such as Scrum.
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited university in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to communicate with other business verticals and familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
- Experience deploying and supporting software on standalone robotics platforms is a plus.
