Responsibilities
- Influence architectural decisions and establish collaborative agreements across teams.
- Create high-level product specifications and design documents.
- Drive adoption of modern software engineering practices.
- Implement and lead large-scale software changes for next-generation products.
- Provide technical guidance for new products and features.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver cohesive, end-to-end user experiences.
- Mentor and coach software developers.
Requirements
- Multiple years of experience as a software architect building scalable software architectures and establishing software engineering practices.
- EDA software development experience is highly desired.
- Knowledge of software modeling methods, test-driven development, and agile development.
- Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience with big data or building scalable, efficient, and reliable cloud services is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
