Responsibilities
- Build and own video GenAI pipelines for prompt orchestration, asset conditioning, shot assembly, rendering, post-processing, and delivery.
- Translate product goals into measurable GenAI outcomes such as quality, CTR lift proxies, latency, and cost.
- Integrate external video GenAI vendors and APIs while managing versioning, fallbacks, quotas, and production reliability.
- Create evaluation frameworks for video quality and ad readiness.
- Optimize systems for latency, throughput, and cost using caching, batching, retries, parallelism, and content-aware routing.
- Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to ship improvements quickly and safely.
Requirements
- Experience building production video GenAI systems.
- Strong engineering skills in Python, software design, testing, code reviews, and performance tuning.
- Practical understanding of LLMs and multimodal prompting, including prompt design, tool and function calling patterns, structured outputs, and guardrails.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, containers, experiment tracking, monitoring and alerting, and cloud deployment.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Clear English communication skills for technical documentation and collaboration.
- Preferred: experience with FFmpeg, encoding and transcoding, timeline composition, asset management, CDN delivery, and advertising or marketing workflows.
