Base Salary

$175k - $250k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop algorithmic trading strategies using quantitative methods and statistical analysis.
  • Implement and optimize execution algorithms to improve trading efficiency and reduce market impact.
  • Analyze market microstructure and develop models predicting short-term price movements.
  • Translate trading ideas into production-ready code in collaboration with quants, developers, and traders.
  • Monitor and evaluate trading strategy performance and make real-time adjustments.
  • Research new trading opportunities and market inefficiencies.
  • Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and stay current with regulatory changes.
  • Develop relationships with electronic trading venues and liquidity providers.
  • Contribute to the firm's electronic trading infrastructure and technology stack.

Requirements

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field is desirable.
  • Experience in electronic trading or a similar financial-markets role is desirable.
  • Strong programming skills in C++, Java, or Python, preferably in low-latency environments.
  • In-depth understanding of market microstructure, order types, and exchange connectivity.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques.
  • Experience with high-frequency trading and algorithmic execution strategies is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with multiple asset classes such as Rates, equities, futures, options, or FX is desirable.
  • Knowledge of market-making strategies, risk management, and financial regulations such as MiFID II and Reg NMS is desirable.
  • Experience with distributed systems, cloud computing platforms, and KDB or another time-series database is desirable.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder-management, delivery-ownership, and electronic-markets knowledge are expected.

Benefits

  • Base pay is listed at $175,000-$210,000 per year for the Associate title and $200,000-$250,000 per year for the Vice President title.
  • The total compensation package may include a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, discretionary awards, medical and financial benefits, 401(k) eligibility, and paid time off including vacation, sick time, and parental leave.
  • The role is part of a global team operating across London, New York, and Tokyo.
  • U.S. hires are employed in an at-will position.
