Base Salary
$126k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead hands-on development and delivery of intelligent operations solutions, including advanced chatbots, agentic workflow automation, and AI-assisted decision platforms.
- Fine-tune, prompt-engineer, orchestrate, and deploy open-source and proprietary LLMs using Google Vertex AI.
- Implement retrieval-augmented generation pipelines and AI orchestration workflows.
- Architect AI safety frameworks, guardrails, semantic routing, deterministic controls, and hallucination and bias detection mechanisms.
- Design and deploy scalable cloud-native AI pipelines using Python, Docker, Kubernetes, and related infrastructure.
- Ensure AI systems meet financial-services risk management, auditability, data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Lead AI and automation programs from concept to production and establish technical direction and engineering standards.
Requirements
- Deep understanding of LLM architectures, vector databases, embedding models, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with Google Vertex AI or equivalent enterprise cloud AI platforms and deployment of open-source models such as Llama, Mistral, and Gemma.
- Production experience implementing deterministic controls, semantic routing, guardrails, and bias or hallucination detection.
- Expert-level Python skills with AI/ML libraries and API development frameworks.
- Strong experience with containerization, Kubernetes, OpenShift, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native application delivery.
- Experience in financial-services technology, including financial products, compliance requirements, and financial data security.
- Demonstrated ability to lead AI and automation programs and set credible technical direction at a senior level.
- Bachelor’s or university degree in a relevant area or equivalent experience.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
- Experience tuning models on Google Vertex AI or equivalent platforms and familiarity with additional AI orchestration tools and emerging open-source LLM frameworks are beneficial.
