Base Salary
$180k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Secure, scale, and maintain cloud architecture, databases, file storage, search clusters, microservices, and machine learning pipelines.
- Build and manage containerized applications and infrastructure using Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code.
- Operate and optimize high-availability machine learning inference services and large-scale ML/AI applications.
- Improve observability, alerting, SLOs, incident response, and platform reliability while participating in an on-call rotation.
- Develop cost-effective infrastructure solutions and identify infrastructure cost-optimization opportunities.
- Collaborate with product, infrastructure, security, and customer teams on product delivery, secure integrations, and onboarding.
- Contribute Python and JavaScript code to product features and fix security vulnerabilities and bugs.
- Harden systems and processes to support SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance and audit readiness.
Requirements
- Production experience building and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes at scale.
- Experience with Terraform, Helm charts, Bash scripting, and Python for infrastructure automation.
- Experience operating, monitoring, and scaling large-scale applications, especially ML/AI workloads, in AWS and/or GCP.
- Proficiency with Node.js and Python and the ability to collaborate with full-stack developers on SaaS applications.
- Hands-on experience with ML infrastructure at scale, including GPUs, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with CI/CD automation tools such as GitHub Actions or Spacelift.
- Awareness of cloud-operations security best practices and experience applying them in startup environments.
- Ability and willingness to use LLMs and AI tools to accelerate development, security analysis, and infrastructure optimization.
- Experience with observability, alerting, incident response, security vulnerability remediation, and compliance practices is relevant.
- Contributions to open-source developer tooling, infrastructure, or security projects are valued.
