Base Salary
$165k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Secure, scale, monitor, and maintain cloud architecture, databases, file storage, search clusters, microservices, and machine learning pipelines.
- Build and manage containerized applications and infrastructure at scale using Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code tools.
- Operate high-availability machine learning inference services and participate in incident response and on-call rotations.
- Define SLOs and SLAs, improve observability and alerting, and identify infrastructure cost-optimization opportunities.
- Contribute Python and JavaScript code to new product features and collaborate with full-stack and product engineers.
- Work with customers on security questions and integrations, remediate vulnerabilities, and harden systems for SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance.
Requirements
- Production experience building and managing containerized applications with Kubernetes.
- Experience with Terraform, Helm charts, bash scripting, and Python for infrastructure automation.
- Experience operating, monitoring, and scaling large-scale ML or AI applications on AWS and/or GCP.
- Proficiency with Node.js and Python and the ability to collaborate on SaaS application design and operations.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning infrastructure at scale, including GPUs, Docker, and Kubernetes, plus familiarity with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience with CI/CD automation tools such as GitHub Actions or Spacelift.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and experience applying them in startup environments.
- Ability and willingness to use LLMs and AI tools to accelerate development, security analysis, and infrastructure optimization.
- Open-source contributions to Roboflow, developer tools, infrastructure, or security projects are valued.
