Base Salary
$150k - $226k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the technical design and implementation of significant developer platform capabilities.
- Build cloud-native capabilities using open-source components and AI.
- Scope tasks and set priorities for team members contributing to shared objectives.
- Drive high-quality implementation, code health, monitoring, releases, and reliable CI in production.
- Guide junior developers and contribute to design reviews, roadmaps, feature prioritization, and team processes.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in software engineering with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure production products and services using Go, Python, TypeScript, or similar languages.
- Experience with cloud technologies and tools such as Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, Azure, GitHub Actions, VSCode, Kubernetes, and Backstage.
- Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and system design, along with analytical and debugging skills.
- Strong communication skills for requirements gathering, problem scoping, and documenting system designs.
- Preferred qualifications include experience building with LLMs, knowledge of software delivery platforms and DevSecOps, and familiarity with centralized developer platform teams and developer experience.
