Responsibilities
- Use AI coding assistants daily and evaluate their impact on engineering productivity and output quality.
- Integrate LLM APIs into production applications while managing token limits, latency, cost, and abstraction layers.
- Build full-stack application layers, APIs, and interfaces that connect software systems with agentic AI backends and pipelines.
- Apply AI-assisted testing, debugging, code review, and prompt engineering across the delivery lifecycle.
- Evaluate the reliability, limitations, failure modes, and production readiness of AI-generated outputs.
- Define and track KPIs for AI-assisted workflows and present productivity and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Own delivery from design through production support in Agile sprint cycles with client engineering teams.
- Contribute reusable components, shared knowledge, and internal AI tooling standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Software engineering experience in production environments, or equivalent demonstrated through academic projects, internships, or shipped personal projects.
- Proficiency in at least one primary backend language: Python, Java, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in daily engineering work and calling LLM APIs in production code, including understanding token management, latency, and cost tradeoffs.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker; CI/CD pipelines; and SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of Agile delivery fundamentals and the ability to validate, evaluate, and improve AI-generated outputs.
- Familiarity with agentic system concepts, LangChain or LangGraph, RAG pipelines, and connections between full-stack applications and agent-based architecture.
- Very good German and English skills.
- Production experience with agentic systems is preferred.
