Responsibilities
- Develop and evolve Accor’s large-scale payment platform and hotel payment portal.
- Design, develop, and maintain critical payment services and applications.
- Build secure components for payment-card management while supporting robustness, scalability, and performance.
- Design and deploy AWS infrastructure and maintain Terraform infrastructure as code.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines, automation, and DevOps practices.
- Explore AI-assisted development and new technologies through proofs of concept.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, developers, and Tech Leads and contribute to engineering practices and team capability.
- Influence technical decisions and propose functional and technical improvements.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of software development experience in mature organizational environments.
- Strong experience with AWS cloud architectures and excellent Java proficiency.
- Good knowledge of VueJS or a modern frontend framework.
- Significant experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Proficiency with CI/CD environments and DevOps practices.
- Experience designing and integrating APIs.
- Prior experience with high-traffic transactional platforms and payment environments, including PCI DSS considerations, is preferred.
- Ability to take initiative, experiment, prototype, collaborate, and contribute beyond an individual scope.
